Trained as a therapist in 1979, Philip offers individual psychotherapy through Green Stone Therapies. His Reiki healing and training practice is based in Point Breeze, where Philip welcomes clients from all over Western Pennsylvania. In-home treatments can also be arranged. He joined Key Stone Reiki as a Principal in 2002.
Philip provides compassionate, spiritually-sensitive treatment for depression, anxiety, interpersonal difficulties, and post-traumatic stress. Reiki Healing as it has been traditionally taught in the Usui System of Reiki Healing is integrated into his overall therapeutic approach. Classical Reiki treatments are also offered for physical complaints, relaxation and general well-being.
Philip completed his Reiki Master training in the Usui System of Reiki Healing in 2009 with Reiki Master Nancy Murray. Philip’s spiritual lineage of empowerment in the Western Line of the Usui System of Reiki Healing is: Mikao Usui > Chujiro Hayashi > Hawayo Takata > Phyllis Furumoto > Linda Keiser Mardis > Nancy Murray.
Philip has also taken training in the traditional Japanese methods of Usui Reiki Ryoho from Reiki Master Tom Rigler. The structure and content of Philip's classes remains aligned with the standards of the Reiki Alliance. He incorporates the Japanese Usui Reiki Ryoho methods when appropriate.
Philip draws on his years of experience in psychotherapy, law, private business development, theater, martial arts, and Christian and Eastern spirituality to cooperatively create effective resolutions for his clients' life challenges.
