Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Spotlights Reiki, Mind-Body Programs at Allegheny General Hospital

A recent Health and Science section in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette featured two articles about integrative medicine programs at Allegheny General Hospital.  One article highlights the Hospital’s Reiki volunteer program, noting the program’s growth over the past few years and the benefits to patients.  A second, longer article focuses on the benefits to both patients and staff of deep-breathing relaxation techniques 14 AGH doctors and staff members learned in recent training with the famed Benson-Henry Institute for Mind-Body Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital.
